Lancashire & Cheshire Over 60s Cup 2024
Four teams took part in this second annual competition for the winners and runners up in the Greater Manchester WFL and the Cheshire FA WFL. The teams were Bolton Arena and Wakefield Wanderers from the GMWFL and Neston Nomads and Northwich from the Cheshire FA WFL.
The competition venue was at the Cheshire FA HQ in Northwich. It was a round robin event with twelve fixtures, the results and final tables were –

After the competition, a presentation and excellent buffet was provided for the teams and officials. A massive thanks to Fran Perez for organising this competition and our hosts the Cheshire FA for an excellent days football, and of course not forgetting our excellent referees Stuart Saint and Kevin Williams.
Well done and thanks to Bolton Arena and Wakefield Wanderers for representing the GMWFL.

It was an absolute pleasure to host the event at Cheshire FA HQ! The day was filled with fantastic football, outstanding refereeing, and every game was played in the true spirit of sportsmanship. Thank you to everyone involved, and a special thanks to Bill Murney for his support!
